Personal Visual Identity and Portfolio Website
My own portfolio website and identity design. I wanted to achieve a very minimalistic and clean design for a very long time. Logo is built around my name's initials. The first letters are geometric interpretation of a pencil. Website is focused on project presentation. The main inspiration for the page’s layout and look were corporate brand guidelines.
- CMS Development
- Front-End Development
- Information Architecture
- Style Guides
- Responsive Design
The first letters are geometric interpretation of a pencil.
My logo is build around Proxima Nova Soft. It has round endings, suits the rest of the family perfectly and it gives softer look to the logo.
Primary Typefaces and UsageFor my website and stationary I used Proxima Nova Family. It is designed by Mark Simonson. There are 8 weights: Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, Semibold, Bold, Extrabold, and Black and 3 widths: Normal, Condensed, and Extra Condensed.
In my projects I choose only professional fonts. Also I love when branding is consistent across all materials from stationary to web design.
I have chosen three colours for my website and stationary: black, white and grey. They are super clean and all other projects look just great around these three simple colours. Black is always universal and easy to read. White gives you nice feeling of space. Grey is a product of mixing white and black.
